Something wonderful happened to me on Monday. I discovered....the stage. Here's how it happened.
I needed to relax. I don't know if you know, but I have a crazy stressful life. At least right now I do. It's pretty much crap. C-R-A-P crap. So naturally I did what anyone with a crap life would do. I sang.
I aide during 2nd period (as many of you already know from my previous posts) and one of the reasons my life is so annoying right now sits in the band room. Mr. Binder. SPEAKING OF CRAP.
But I won't get into that. So basically I have been bending over backwards to avoid any form of communication with....that.... and I finally figured out what I needed to do. So I grabbed the music department keys and hit the stage.
The first day the lights were on and the second day they were too but today, the audience lights were off. I go and sometimes I'll give a brief introduction to my song selection and then I will sing. It is so relaxing and I just love it.
One of my goals for high school is to have a solo on that stage, preferably for the Winter Concert. I don't think that is likely to happen, but at least I've found a way to put on my own concerts :)
